2015 was the first year the O Show had XP. Even then, the system has only been in place since July 14th, meaning there really was only half a year of working out the kinks, adding new features, and so on. But at the request of the almighty Dave, New Year's Day became a day of cleansing, setting a precedent for every year forward. But just like Soul Calibur, the legend(s) will never die, and upon the Yearly Reset those who have triumphed in one way or another will have their names immortalized - woven into the tapestry of history; carved into the rock of ages - or something like that.
